Better Makers: ‘Be My Valentine’ Event Raises $89,000 for the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation

Be My Valentine Family Event

On Jan. 29, 490 attendees raised $89,000 benefitting the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation at the 10th Annual Be My Valentine Family Event. Co-chaired by Sarna Lee Goldenberg, Libby Langsdorf and Jennifer Meyers, the event was hosted at the Drake Hotel and kicked off with a brunch that included a Belgium Waffle bar and Mimosas. Entertainment was provided by the Jessie White Tumblers, along with special character appearances by Sparkles Entertainment. Activities included a cookie decorating station with Sweet Mandy B’s, kids hair and makeup by Pixi Girl, a luxury silent auction and carnival activities with Dale Bloom of Clowning Around.

The funds raised go toward breast cancer research with the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, which has raised over $30 million toward breast cancer research and fellowship funds for breast surgeries, pathology, imaging and hematology/oncology.
