There’s a lot going on in the world right now. A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti Saturday, leaving nearly 1,400 people dead and at least 6,900 injured. The quake also destroyed tens of thousands of homes, blocked roads, and damaged infrastructure.
In Afghanistan, the Taliban have taken control, causing thousands of people to flee. Those who remain face fear and uncertainty. According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), more than 550,000 Afghans have been displaced internally since the beginning of the year due to the escalating conflict.

Hope for Haiti’s Infirmary St. Etienne is open in Les Cayes, Haiti, providing wound care and other essential services like clean water. Their experienced team, including doctors, nurses, and program managers, is on the ground in various Hatian communities providing support. The organization has been serving the region for more than 32 years.
Partners in Health
Partners in Health works toward making healthcare a human right for all people, especially for those who need it most.They are the largest non-governmental healthcare provider in Haiti. When the earthquake struck, they immediately organized staff and supplies to respond.
Project HOPE
Project HOPE is a global health nonprofit working to save lives and deliver programs that improve quality of life. They have deployed an emergency response team in Haiti and are providing immediate health needs like hygiene kits, PPE, and water purification supplies.
Help Afghans in Need
Women for Women
Women for Women International helps women survivors of war and conflict. The nonprofit is providing emergency support to Afghan women as they face grim uncertainty in the midst of rising violence. Donations will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $500k.
