Have old soccer jerseys from seasons past collecting dust in your kid’s closets?
Lizzy Tracy, a Loyola Academy student has teamed up with the Wilmette Park District to collect soccer jerseys and donate them to a school in Chicago that would otherwise not be able to afford them. Donate your old jerseys Saturday, May 28 from 8 am – 3 pm at the booth next to the Wilmette Park District van at the Community Playfield soccer fields.
They will also be collecting shorts, socks, shin guards and cleats. You can also drop off items in the box at the front desk of the Community Recreation Center from May 30 – June 10.
