Amazon
Amazon announced this week that it needs to hire 100,000 people. Yes, you heard that right. They basically need to hire a small city to keep up with the crush of people stuck at home and ordering online. The company is also boosting pay by $2 an hour for hourly employees through April.
Safeway
Safeway is looking to hire some 2,000 workers at its more than 165 Bay Area locations. Positions include deli, meat, bakery, produce, fuel stations and customer service departments, cashier or clerk, as well full and part-time delivery drivers.
Tech Jobs
According to a recent Forbes article, Apple, IBM, Dell, Microsoft and Oracle all have thousands of jobs available that pay $60,000 or more to qualified applicants. And many of these companies have work-from-home options.
Unites States Post Office
Yes, you too can be like Cheers’ Cliff Clavin or Seinfeld’s Newman and work as a postal carrier. There are lots of other open positions too that are nothing to laugh at. Pay starts at $21 an hour and applications are being accepted in all Zip codes.
United States Census
It only happens once every 10 years, but now is your chance to make some extra cash and help your community be represented. Temporary workers are still needed; pay varies by location and position.

Domino’s
What makes sheltering-in-place just a little more tolerable? Pizza of course. Domino’s said it needs to hire about 10,000 full-time and part-time workers to keep up with delivery demand.
Instacart
The company plans to hire 300,000 “full-service shoppers” in North America within the next three months, more than doubling its current number of shoppers, as Americans increasingly look to grocery delivery services during the coronavirus pandemic.
CVS Health
The company plans to immediately hire 50,000 people for full-time, part-time and temporary jobs, including home delivery drivers, store positions, distribution workers and customer service representatives. It is also giving bonuses to current in-store workers.
American Express
