How to Be an Elf for a Day: The Grand Geneva Guide to Elfish Entertainment

Dress up in a costume and get free treats, all for your favorite holiday.

No, we’re not talking about Halloween. This is Grand Geneva Resort & Spa‘s Christmas in the Country, a stellar celebration that lasts more than a month and features the Midwest’s best assortment of winter activities.

One package in particular will have kids trading in their snow boots for pointy shoes.

From Nov. 26 to Dec. 23, families will have the opportunity to book the Elf for a Day overnight package, which includes a one-night stay, cookies and milk delivered to your room, and a one-of-a-kind elf experience. Kiddos will be delighted to find two elf hats and two pairs of elf shoes, to be worn for a special assignment in the lobby at 4 p.m. — the daily Elf Mail Run. This important task ensures the delivery of Christmas letters to Santa. The North Pole has delegated elf representatives at Grand Geneva to oversee Midwest operations, and your children will have the chance to meet them and assist with this timeless tradition.

Secure a Spot on the Nice List

There’s no better way to ensure your good standing with Santa than to help him out during his most stressful time of the year. Better yet, tell him in person that you did your part! If you book your package on a weekend, be sure to add on Breakfast With Santa on Saturday or Sunday mornings. You’ll get to meet the jolly old man himself, and enjoy a bountiful buffet, plus live music and holiday activities.

On behalf of Santa and his elves, we thank you for your festive enthusiasm. Be sure to check out the other grand adventures throughout the resort, including skiing and snowboarding, story time, trolley tours and more.
