Nail Polish Favorites Spring 2013

After scanning the spring collections, we’ve found our favorite nail polish colors for spring break, and hopefully a little warmth on our own shore.

From coral red to creamy nude, these polishes will keep your digits looking chic this season.

This spring, have fun with sparkles and confetti. Whether it’s only on one finger or used as an overlay for another colorful polish, these polishes give your fingers a reason for jazz hands. We love this Feathers Effect Nail Polish by Nails Inc. for a unique, crackled look.

We’re counting on this to be the go-to pop of color this spring for our tootsies. Some takes on this color prompt flashbacks to nails of the 80s (ie. OPI‘s Suzi’s Hungary AGAIN!), but we adore Butter’s peachy color called Kerfuffle.
Kerfuffle Nail Lacquer, $15, Butter of London

We love coral this year as much as we did last year. This beautifully fiery color is a great modern take on the bright reds that were popular years ago. Since Essie tends to be a little thin in consistency, it’s great with bold colors—giving you control over how bright you want the color to look.

For a bit more funk, paint on a coat of this icy blue polish from Face, a Swedish mother-daughter duo that J.Crew has brought on as one of their “in-good-company” brands this year. This ultra long lasting color is a good pick for just one digit if you want to play with a little contrast.

With spring wedding season ramping up, these delicate and sweet colors are perfect for a day of nuptials. Besides the usual lilac and soft greys, we’ve spotted a lot of buff colors this year. Our favorite is this creamy magnolia polish from Zoya.
Jacqueline, $8, Zoya
