Leather Embellishments
Leather continues to be hotter then ever this fall. You’ll see sweaters with leather sleeves, collars and trim. Just a touch of this luxe fabric instantly ups the cool factor of an otherwise plain sweater.

Fisherman’s Sweater
Fisherman’s sweaters were huge on the Fall 2013 runways of Marc Jacobs, Celine and Ralph Lauren. The chunky cable-knit sweater is classic, comfy and looks great oversized. It even works to throw on one of your husband’s bulky sweaters! These look best worn with straight-leg jeans, skinny cords or a short skirt.

Leopard
Animal prints are one of the biggest trends for fall. We’re seeing many of this season’s leopard sweaters in colored variations, as modeled on Diane Von Furstenberg’s runway. You CAN wear leopard, just don’t go overboard. Pair the busy print with a solid dark bottom.

Fur
Fur and faux-fur adorned sweaters look fashionable and fun, especially during the holiday season. Colored fur detailing was huge on the runways. Ease into the trend with a fur-collar sweater or fur-adorned cardigan.

This season’s fuzzy sweaters are being worn fitted, giving the look some sexiness and retro style. Soft pastels and classic black and white were among the more popular colors of mohair sweaters for fall.
