Women — across generations — are a leading force. Taking an active, empathetic approach to charitable giving, women are more likely to not only give, but also be engaged in the causes they support.
Honoring the community of philanthropic women, the Jewish United Fund Women’s Division hosted its annual Lion Luncheon Sept. 12 at The Standard Club.
Over 320 women gathered for an intimate conversation with Bari Weiss, New York Times journalist and author of “How to Fight Anti-Semitism.”
The annual luncheon raised $2 million in support of the 2020 JUF Annual Campaign. Women’s giving currently accounts for over 16 percent of the Annual Campaign.
