At this expo all about local and sustainable food, guests have an opportunity to sample products and hear from a variety of speakers, chefs, farmers, and more. The expo also features a Kids’ Corner presented by Purple Asparagus, Test Your Soil by the University of Illinois and Advocates for Urban Agriculture, and Good Food is Good Medicine panels.

The Second City will celebrate its greatest sketches throughout the year. Taking place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the 90s Edition is scheduled for March, July, and October while the 80s Edition is set for April, August, and November and the 70s Edition for May and September.

Start the Weekend Early:

  • The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago hosts a Winemaker Dinner on March 21 with chef Jason Hammel of Marisol and winemaker Martha Stoumen. Menu highlights include Spring Radishes with king crab butter, fried nettles, and carta de musica (paired with Out to the Meadow 2018) and Hamachi Crudo with country ham, kumquat, and lime (paired with Teal Drops Rosé 2017).
