Rush University and Alzheimer’s Association Discuss the Latest Research Happening Locally

Six million people in the United States are currently living with Alzheimer’s, a disease that is also the sixth leading cause of death in this country.

To discuss on the future of Alzheimer’s research and the introduction of The U.S. POINTER Study, two leaders in the field, Olivia Matongo, Vice President of Programs at the Alzheimer’s Association and Dr. Christy Tangney, Professor in the Departments of Clinical Nutrition & Preventive Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, joined Make It Better Media Group for a Sept. 21 virtual event, moderated by Sharon Krone, Executive Director of the Make It Better Foundation.
