The Lake Forest Shop will host its first Fashion Auction on Tuesday, June 28, to empower women in our communities. A joint project between The Lake Forest Shop and pioneering nonprofits, the Fashion Auction will donate 100 percent of proceeds to participating groups in order to raise money and awareness for the women and communities the organizations serve.
Along with their board members, committee members Paula Danoff, Melissa Goltra, Jacqueline Perlman and Sheryl Perlman are excited to celebrate making a difference.
The participating nonprofits include The Allendale Shelter Club, Junior League of Evanston North Shore, My Favorite Outfit, The Winnetka Board of Northwestern University Settlement and The Women’s Board of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital.
A preview and silent bidding began on Wednesday, June 15 and will continue through Tuesday, June 28, when the auction will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. Attendance on June 28 is not required to bid.
The auction will be located at The Lake Forest Shop at 265 E. Market Square in Lake Forest. Only cash and check will be accepted for auction items, but credit cards can be used to purchase products from The Lake Forest Shop, where visitors can take 10 percent off. An additional 10 percent will benefit the nonprofit group of choice.
