The importance of teachers, schools and educators has been further emphasized by the coronavirus pandemic. As families begin to prepare for an uncertain school year – and consider education options – we’ve rounded up a list of private schools in the Chicago-area.
How You Can Help:
Students and families in low-income areas of Chicago have been hit especially hard by the coronavirus pandemic. As we enter into a new school year, it is essential we help to make sure underserved students and families have what they need to succeed.
That is where Cradles to Crayons comes in. C2C was founded in Boston in 2002 with the mission of providing children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive –at home, at school and at play. C2C supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. You can get involved here.
