Here’s an app for movie fans, but is it a “Better” or “Bust” to use?
The PercyFX app for Blackberry, iPhone and iPad lets you customize a favorite movie clip with personalized messages that interact with different scenes. Available movies range from recent blockbusters like “Bridesmaids” and “Despicable Me” to classics like “The Big Lebowski” and “Back to the Future.”
The process is simple: just flip through the selection of movies, choose your favorite clip, enter a message, and hit “Create.” Voila! You have just made your mark on Hollywood.
Once you create a clip, it’s yours to keep for as long as you want. You can share the movie magic with your friends by uploading clips to your friends’ Facebook pages or send them out via e-mail. The videos are viewable on smart phones, tablets, computers, and on connected TVs. Best of all, the app is free! When you download the app, you can purchase clips through a credit system (the least expensive credit package contains 3 credits for 99 cents, and each clip costs one credit).
Overall, this is an easy to use, addicting app that is suitable for all ages, and the graphics are fantastic! I give it a “Better!”
