Better Makers: Fall Fashion Soiree Raises $5,000 for Lake County Haven

On November 12th eight notable local women modeled the latest fashions from Libertyville’s ENAZ On The Park. The 150 person event was held in Libertyville at O’Toole’s, which featured clothing, jewelry, celebrity sightings, refreshments and entertainment including a silent auction.  The evening was hosted by event organizers Sara McKinnon, owner of O’Toole’s of Libertyville; and Samantha Shapiro and Lena Blitstein, co-owners of ENAZ On The Park in Libertyville and benefited the Lake County Haven.

Sara McKinnon expressed that “What was cool about [our] fashion show partnership with Samantha Shapiro and Lena Blitstein of ENAZ On The Park was women business owners working together and helping other women in their time of need.”

Lake County Haven is a social-service agency that works to help homeless women and children through education, employment, and skill training to aid them in improving their quality of life and gaining their independence.
