Buying a house is like falling in love. We step over the threshold and we melt. Now we can either be brought in tighter, or we can be put off by the most inane things. Appeal to our senses, let us imagine living in this space, and tug at our emotions, memories and dreams.
You have done everything right up to this point, so don’t spoil it by jarring the positive emotion the buyer has with outlandish Halloween decorations, religious symbols or political statements. Let the buyer concentrate on the house and not get sidetracked.
