Make It Better hosts an annual Money, Values and Impact summit bringing together some of the greatest minds in the financial world to discuss how we can maximize social impact with every investment. At the 2018 summit, the evening’s keynote presentation, “Conversation Around Values & Money,” was given by Kathy Roeser and Carla Harris of Morgan Stanley.
Roeser, managing director and wealth advisor at Morgan Stanley, is the founder and leader of The Roeser Group. A financial advisor veteran of more than 30 years, she has dedicated her entire career to serving the needs of successful executives and multi-generational families across the country. Roeser has been recognized by Barron’s as one of America’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors and one of America’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors. She has also been a member of the Morgan Stanley Chairman’s Club since 2008 and been named a Morgan Stanley MAKER.
Harris is vice chairman and managing director at Morgan Stanley, where she also serves as a senior client advisor. Previously, she headed the Emerging Manager Platform at Morgan Stanley, the equity capital markets effort for the consumer and retail industries. Harris has extensive industry experience in the
technology, media, retail, telecommunications, transportation, industrial, and health care sectors. She served as a senior member of the equity syndicate desk and in the mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley. Harris was appointed by President Barack Obama to chair the National Women’s Business
Council. She is the author of books “Expect to Win” and “Strategize to Win.”
