Families Facing Alzhiemer’s Find Reason to Hope at Annual Event — Donate and Double Your Impact Today

Reason to Hope Co-Chair Jennifer Keeney made a commitment to herself at the start of 2021. She vowed to “get even more focused” on finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, having experienced its impacts firsthand with her father and sister. Jennifer is one of many Alzheimer’s Association volunteers dedicating their time and talents to ending the disease for future generations.

At noon on Thursday, April 29, Jennifer will join hundreds of passionate supporters in changing the path of Alzheimer’s disease at Reason to Hope. Reason to Hope is a powerful, one-hour event honoring those living with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers.

This year’s virtual event features emcee Paul Lisnek (WGN-TV political analyst; anchor of WGN-TV Political Report) and keynote speaker Ryan Mundy (Founder & CEO, Alkeme Health Co.; Alzheimer’s Association Board of Directors).

The inspiring program includes testimonies from those facing Alzheimer’s, as well as updates on the vital work of the Alzheimer’s Association. The organization is the leading voluntary health organization providing Alzheimer’s care, support, and education free of charge in communities across the nation. As the largest nonprofit funder of dementia research, the Alzheimer’s Association is committed to advancing cutting-edge research around the globe.

The research on Alzheimer’s and dementia is staggering. Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures, an annual report released by the Alzheimer’s Association, reveals that more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million.
