In response to the large decline in resources at our local food pantries and the increase in demand for such goods, The United Way has combined efforts with local businesses to coordinate a food drive that will support the following organizations:
- New Trier Township Food Pantry
- Moraine Township Food Pantry
- Hemenway United Methodist Church Food Pantry
- The Salvation Army
Your help is needed to make this food drive as successful as possible! So, here’s how you can help:
What you can donate (unopened and unexpired):
- Cans of fruits, vegetables and meats (tuna, spam, ham, chicken)
- 100% fruit and vegetable juice (cans or plastic bottles only)
- Soap (laundry, dish)
- Boxes of pasta and rice
- Canned or bottled pasta sauces
- Cereal, pancake mix/syrup, granola bars, breakfast squares, peanut butter
- Coffee, tea, powdered milk
- Condiments (salt, pepper, jelly, sugar)
- Personal care products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, diapers, etc.)
When: Saturday, Oct. 3, through Saturday, Oct. 10

- Glenview: Northern Trust (Waukegan Road)
- Glencoe: Coldwell-Banker, Harris Bank
