Inspiring Super Bowl Commercials of the Past

Super Bowl

There are a few different things we love about the Super Bowl, like the food, time we spend with our family and friends, and the halftime show. But by far the best part about the big game is the commercials. While some make us crack up with laughter, others often make us tear up. We’ve rounded up some of the most touching and inspiring Super Bowl commercials in recent years.

1. Always’ “#LikeAGirl”

During Super Bowl XLIX, Always asked, “When did doing something ‘like a girl’ become an insult?”

2. Ram Truck’s “Farmer”

This ad from 2013 honored the American farmer with a series of pictures and Paul Harvey‘s 1978 speech “So God Made a Farmer.”

3. Microsoft’s “Empowering”

This 2014 commercial demonstrated all the incredible ways that technology can heal, strengthen and unite us.

4. Jeep’s “Whole Again”

Oprah Winfrey narrated this 2013 tribute to American soldiers.

5. Toyota’s “Move Mountains”

This commercial featured Paralympian medalist Amy Purdy and demonstrated just how important it is to get back up and keep trying when you’re knocked down.

6. Dove’s “#RealStrength”

In 2015, Dove created this touching commercial in which fathers of all ages comforted their kids throughout life’s moments, good and bad.
