Each year around the giving season, Make It Better Foundation and its partner nonprofits host a drive to supply new coats and warm outerwear to those in need. With a pandemic looming over us, the MIB Foundation will not be accepting physical items like the previous years. Instead, they are asking for cash donations to purchase new items. With its trusted partner nonprofits, MIB will distribute 100 percent of the donations to more than 1,000 men, women and children around Chicago and the Suburbs this winter.
The Make it Better Foundation is an extension of the Make it Better Media Group, founded by Susan B. Noyes. MIB Foundation aims to identify and amplify the work of outstanding nonprofits, especially in the Chicagoland area.
In past years, Make It Better Foundation has donated coats, blankets, hats, mittens/gloves and scarves to the following organizations:
