Sable Kitchen & Bar is run by Chef Heather Terhune of recent Top Chef Texas fame. She had a great run, but was eliminated before the finals, which was unfortunate for her, but great for patrons of the bar and restaurant she heads in the River North neighborhood. The food is American comfort food, served in small plates, so lots of chances for sharing. The bar takes cocktails seriously, with head bartender Mike Ryan, a former chef who learned cocktails at the Violet Hour.
