Addis Abeba

Addis Abeba has been serving traditional Ethiopian food in Chicago for more then 16 year. Originally in Wrigleyville, now in Evanston. The new Evanston location offers a pleasant, relaxed dining environment, as well as a unique dining experience. There are no eating utensils! Ethiopian cuisine is unique in flavor, and the way it is served and eaten. All courses are eaten with your hands. One is instructed to rip off a small amount of the Injera (traditional bread) wrap it around the food and eat. Also Addis Abeba received Time Out Chicago’s 2008 “Eat Out” award for best new African restaurant.
