Macy’s Water Tower Grand Reopening, Water Tower Place
Friday, May 13–Saturday, May 14
Following a sweeping store renovation, Macy’s Water Tower unveils its new bright and elegant interior, state-of-the-art cosmetics floor and expanded mezzanine handbag department, among other improvements. Stop by counters like Clinique and Lancome to experience recent technological innovations in beauty, like iPad apps that help you choose the correct skin care products and specially designed lighting that shows you how your makeup will look in different daily environments (think outdoor sunshine vs. horrid office fluorescence). If you need to do some summer shopping for the kids, visit the children’s department between 1–3pm on Saturday for face painting and balloon animals.
Doors open at 9am Friday morning, and the first 300 people to arrive at the Michigan Ave. entrance will receive a $10 gift card, with a chance to win a $500 gift card. The Million Dollar Quartet will perform on the mezzanine at noon.
