Better Makers: Charles Tillman Pro BOWLer Tournament Raises $44,000

The fourth Charles Tillman Celebrity Pro BOWLer Tournament took place at Kings Bowl in Lincoln Park on July 14, raising over $44,000 for the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation. Founded in 2005, the foundation works to provide support to chronically ill children and their families. The event, which was hosted by newly-retired Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman, featured signature dishes from Kings’ made-from-scratch menu.

The tournament has raised more than $475,000 since its inaugural 2012 event. The Cornerstone Foundation has provided opportunities and resources to more than one million Chicagoland children.

Attendees included former Chicago Bears Anthony Adams, Jerry Azumah, Rashied Davis, Johnny Knox and Jason McKie; Miss Illinois 2016 Zena Malak; and Chicago Sky athletes Cappie Pondexter and Tamera Young.

Lane sponsors included Be React, The Conleys, The Custom Companies, Flood Brothers, Greyfield Legacies, The Madrids, McMahon Services, Premier Design + Build Group, the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, Ryan Curtis with State Farm, Spahn Financial, Tricel Honeycomb and The Vine.
