5 Local Snacks and Drinks Perfect for Super Bowl Sunday — Plus 5 Game Day Restaurant Specials

Super Bowl

It’s Super Bowl time, and even though no one in the Bay Area is very happy about how the 49ers vs the Rams turned out, it doesn’t mean we have to miss out on one of the most important aspects of the game — eating. We’ve rounded up some local drinks and snacks to keep you and your friends fed while you’re watching, or if you feel like getting something from a restaurant, we’ve rounded up a few local eateries offering specials for game day.

This Richmond-based brewery has a few tips to make sure you’re a Super Bowl super host. If you’re looking for a great beer that keeps the ABV low to make sure your guests make it past the first quarter, try their Red Lager. The brewery’s taproom manager suggests going with light, crisp beers to help keep things from getting to heavy when paired with snacks, making the Bo Pils a perfect choice. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with a classic Gold IPA, an eternal crowd pleaser.
