No single beauty product can turn back the clock.
That said, there are certain tricks for fall that can help skin appear more youthful, including pampering those parts of your face you might sometimes neglect, starting with your lips.
Lip Service
You probably keep your lips hydrated, but when was the last time you gave them some real TLC? Last spring, Hourglass Cosmetics launched its No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil, and it’s worth the splurge to treat those small wrinkles around your lips. The anti-aging formula combines essential oils such as rose, lavender, geranium, lemon, rosemary, vanilla, eucalyptus and cedar, Vitamins A, C, D and E and active ingredients to boost moisture and improve softness. And, the 24-carat gold-plated tip will make you feel like a million bucks.

Eye Cream for Better Makeup
Makeup artist and beauty director of cosmetics manufacturing company Anisa International Shana King advises women to focus on the eyes. “Always use an eye cream first,” King says. “No eye makeup or concealer will go on the eye area effectively if they are not properly moisturized. So find a cream within your budget and make sure to use it daily.”

Color Correct
First it was BB creams, now CC creams are all the rage. Unlike a BB cream, which is basically a rich tinted moisturizer, CC creams are designed to correct color-related skin issues, such as sallowness or redness and can help even out your skin tone over time. When used under your makeup, they can help smooth your complexion and disguise discoloration that may start to show as the day, and your makeup, wears on. (Find more of our favorite CC creams here.)

Skin-Friendly Ingredients
Dermatologist Amy Forman Taub, M.D., who recently opened a new advanced dermatology location in Glencoe, says, “Fall is a good time to increase the use of retinol products into a daily regimen. And, as the weather begins to cool, exfoliate and incorporate a richer moisturizer or hyaluronic acid products to keep skin hydrated.”
